With the continuing evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have made the difficult decision to keep my Miles 4 Mental Health journey in Ontario. Not only is this walk actually longer than my original journey to Nova Scotia, I believe it is in the best interest of public health. Thank you all so much for your support
My name is Toni Schofield. I was born and raised in Nova Scotia. I currently live in Everett, Ontario after living in a few other amazing places in Canada.
I am the mother of 3 amazing young adults, Quintin (22), Ayla (20) and Parker (18). My husband Jason and I love a good adventure.
I am truly passionate about helping others. I have been a volunteer firefighter in my small community for almost 10 years and love it!!
My full time job for the past 3.5 years has been with Canadian Mental Health Association York South Simcoe in Alliston.
When I decided to embark on this journey I knew right away that CMHA was agency I wanted to support in my fundraising efforts!! The amazing stories I hear and journeys I see for both clients and their families make me want to give more!!
Your generous donations will help more individuals and their families get the resources and help they need!!!
My reason for doing this journey is I am taking my love of adventure and focusing it on a cause that is close to my heart. Mental health issues have touched the lives of people I loveand I couldn't be more proud to be able to bring funding and awareness to this cause. I see on a daily basis how CMHA York South Simcoe has helped so many people and their families in so many ways and I want to be able to help provide more resources and programming to help even more people and their loved ones.
